Exciting Programming Announcements 2019 Whoop-Up Days presented by South Country Co-Op August 20 – 24, 2019

Lethbridge, AB – Lethbridge Exhibition Park is pleased to unveil details on the exciting events taking place during this year’s instalment of Whoop-Up Days.

PARADE

Exhibition Park is humbled to announce that the Boulet family will be this years honorary parade Marshals.  “We are proud to carry on the legacy of Logan Boulet and bring the community together once again in his honour” said Rudy Friesen, CEO of Exhibition Park.  Spectators, participants and the community are encouraged to show their support on Tuesday, August 20 by donning their Green Shirt Day tee shirts to convert the parade route into one that makes every other parade green with envy. T-shirts can be purchased at greenshirtday.ca.

Exhibition Park is pleased to announce that all proceeds from the parade entries will be donated back the Logan Boulet Fund.

KICKOFF

To kick start the festivities, the annual Kick-Off Party & Auction is sure to please VIP attendees with a collection of unique offerings and experiences up for grabs. Funds raised in support of Agricultural Youth Programming. For corporate inquiries contact Taren Cleland at [email protected].

WESTERN EVENTS

In celebration of Southern Alberta’s long history of ranching, this years line up of Western Events will kick off on Thursday, August 22nd with the all new Team Penning jackpot.

Bucking and Barrels will return on Friday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 24th.

All the western events are included with general admission and will take place in the infield of the grandstand at 6:30 p.m.

MOONLIGHT MADNESS

The legendary Moonlight Madness returns on Thursday, August 22nd. Get your fill of unlimited rides, midway games and delicious easts with a discounted ride pass of only $40 which also includes general admission to the anticipated Walk Off the Earth show at the Gas King Stage.

SUPERTICKET

The Whoop-Up Days SuperTicket returns. The advanced SuperTicket is available on ExhibitionPark.ca and goes on sale 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25 for a price of $45 and includes general admission to Whoop-Up Days, StagEX and Western Events. Buy before August 19th and save $15 off on-park pricing.

UNIQUE MARKETPLACE

Find something for everyone including unique products, handmade, artisan and commercial items at the Main Pavilion. The Unique Marketplace is accessible with general admission and open daily. New hours in 2019 are:

Tuesday, August 20 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m
Wednesday, August 21 10:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m
Thursday, August 22 – Saturday, August 24 1:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m
