On the cusp of the development of the new Agri-Food Hub and Trade Center, Lethbridge & District Exhibition (LDE) is excited to create a lasting connection with the art community in Lethbridge & region. This year, we’ve created La Galleria, our designated art gallery, wine bar, buskers’ stage, and art auction area. We welcome musicians, poets, and performance artists to apply for the Buskers’ Stage which will run daily for the duration of Whoop-Up Days (August 23-27, 2022). Two stages will be available:
- An indoor, intimate stage located within La Galleria for unplugged performances. A microphone and stand and general seating will be provided.
- An outdoor stage located on Festival Street, featuring our food truck line-up. This space will have power and additional AV may be provided (depending on availability and request).
Accepted applicants will be booked for up to an hour long set with time before and after for setup and takedown. Acceptances will be made in a timely manner once the application has closed. The Lethbridge & District Exhibition team will be in touch in the months leading up with a finalized schedule.
Deadline for submissions will be July 15th.
