Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo
Lethbridge & District Exhibition proudly announces the return of one of Canada's largest professionally sanctioned CPRA rodeos, coming to the grandstand this August 25, 26 and 27!
Professional rodeo has had some of its finest moments at Whoop-Up Days throughout the decades from its inception 125 years ago. The 2022 rodeo will include Duane Kesler's championship stock, and a purse of $8,000 for major events and $10,000 in the Team Roping ($5,000 header, $5,000 heeler). Each evening performance will feature eight action packed events, including Ladies Barrel Racing, Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Tie Down, Saddle Bronc, Team Roping, Breakaway and Bull Riding capped off with the ever-exciting Warrior Relay Races.
As one of the largest Rodeos in Canada, Lethbridge is part of the SMS Equipment Pro Rodeo Tour.

Warrior Relay Races
Witness one of the most high-intensity elements of this year’s Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo from August 25-27 with the Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo Warrior Relay Races.
The rodeo will feature daily competitions of Warrior Relay Races with a total of $20,000 purse prize winnings. Warrior Relay Races showcase riders riding bareback on thoroughbred horses with action-packed moments and high-energy excitement. Riders jump from one horse to the next in laps around the race track, with two transfers in a race. We invite the community and our guests to experience horse racing like never before at this year’s rodeo.
